Shari started Ballet and Tap at age 5, and then added Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical and Music Theatre there after. At the young age of 16 she began teaching her own classes of Tap, adult Jazz and Beginning Ballet.
This is when Shari realized not only did she enjoy dancing, but LOVED teaching!
From age 7 - 17 she performed in the Rapid City Nutcracker with many lead roles. During her teen years she attended dance camps at the University of Wyoming. She has also attended workshops by Shaun T. (Hip Hop Abs, Cize) Tamera Squires and Michelle Butterfield (Tam Jams), Lindsey B. with Beat Freaks (winners of Americas Best Dance Crew) and Brooklyn Jai just to name a few.
In August 2003 Shari opened the doors of On Your Toes Dance studio. She began teaching students as young as 2 1/2 years of age to adult. She is proud to be the only studio in Rapid City to accept her students as young as 2 1/2 years of age.
To keep up with the latest dance styles Shari is continuously attending dance conventions and workshops to broaden her range of dance trends and techniques.
2008 Shari received the Excellence Award for "Most Outstanding Achievement" from Kim Mckimmie's "I LOVE DANCE" Competition. In 2009 Shari appeared as a guest judge for "I LOVE DANCE" in Portland, Oregon.

recreationally she then became a teacher. Miss Kirsten has a competition team that travels to different competitions and has won choreography awards and judges choice awards. She also still continues to further educate her dance skills by attending dance teacher conferences in Arizona and attends master classes where she has had the opportunity to dance with some amazing instructors. Some of the instructors she has had the honor to work with are Ryan Bosco Baker, Derrick

Miss Hannah was born and raised in the Black Hills. She began dancing when she was 4 and hasn't stopped. While she has had training in Jazz, Tap, Clogging, Modern, Lyrical, as well as other disciplines, Ballet has always had her heart. As a young dancer she enjoyed traveling in the summer to study under new instructors. During this time she had the privilege of working with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Peter Pucci Plus Dancers, Koresh Dance Company, Colorado Ballet, and others.
While Miss Hannah was still a student she enjoyed being a student helper and subbing creative classes for the youngest dancers at her home studio. In 2008 she began giving individual and small group instruction to dancers in the Black Hills and parts of Wyoming. She also performed and helped choreograph for musical theatre productions at the Black Hills Community Theater and The Black Hills Playhouse.
In 2012 Miss Hannah moved to New York City to chase her other creative dreams. While she attended culinary school and worked in fine dining during most of her time there, she often dropped into classes at the Broadway Dance Center, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and took lots of swing and salsa classes.
She is so excited to be back in the area, and thrilled to be sharing her love of the discipline of ballet with the young minds and hearts at On Your Toes!
Welcome to Miss Paidyn, new teacher.
